I created this blog to explore what it means to be a woman. Is it our hair, breast, or vagina? Or is it something more? Is it our ability to withstand heartache while continuing to move through life. With broken hearts we continue to pursue our dreams and goals. I know what it means to cry in the shower and still have to go out and face the world. I remember the episode in Sex and the City when Charlotte suffered a miscarriage. In the scene she was in bed without makeup but soon she was deftly sliding on designer shades with her face to the sun.
I named this blog Quintessential because of its meaning.

I think a woman's emotional endurance...her inner strength...her imperfections proving tht she is a human and moving ahead with her self confidence makes her a quintessentiak woman.She has faced many challenges...but refuses to get reduced by it.Rather she learns from all her experiences and moves on in life.I think being a woman is not easy.
